As you know I am not terribly political, but announcing an age, race, or gender for the person you are looking to hire is clearly against the law. Almost any company that did that would be prosecuted. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

I never said he didn’t have the right to nominate whoever he wanted to. I did say it is a perfect example of a woke policy to announce you need a certain race and gender for a position like Supreme Court Justice. And I think the majority of Americans agree with me, and DeSantis on issues like this. Woke = using race and/or gender to disqualify someone from next Supreme Court Justice appointee Non woke = selecting most qualified candidate regardless of race or gender. |

I was reading about how diversified Joe's admin is. If the person were not racist, he'd select the best persons for the country. That would imply all the other Presidents were not as good as him and racist. But if he were a good President, like avoiding a proxy war with Russia, then maybe he'd be on to something. |

I am not saying that the candidate is not okay. I am saying that the hiring practice should be illegal and probably is. Every HR person in the world has some biases, they just know better than to speak them. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

So, you lose that argument by actual practice. Presidents have been more likely to at least get closer to best qualified in less important positions. Next to never in the SC.
