I am convinced Trump attempted a coup
I have no doubt history books will treat Jan 6 as a coup attempt to overthrow the government

If you weren't, you would see videos of people entering the capitol building peacefully. I'm not seeing those videos anymore though I saw this live. I'm not getting any indication in fact, when I watch the news, that the peaceful protestors were X percentage, the rioters Y percentage. I get the impression watching the news now that none of them were peaceful. Filters affect me and you and that is what we are getting.

Nobody entered the Capitol building "peacefully."

They knocked down barricades put in place to keep them out then foreced entry.

Perhaps you mean that the ones who came late to the party and entered after the damage was done are not culpable?

They are: they knew they were not allowed in at that time, duh.

Trump and his lackies incited his loyalists to storm the Capitol to prevent Biden from being confirmed.

They all knew that they were not welcome, it was not business as usual; barricades / fencing had been erected and security actively was in place.

It may be you are referring to having seen where a sympathizer or two working at the Capitol allowed them entry: they're traitors, and anyway it was painfully obvious that they were not supposed to enter.

Keep spinning, someday you might have a web, but I suspect you'll snare yourself in it.

You follow the boring peaceful protestors story and ill follow the far more interesting attack story because it was news.
I've been and seen a gazillion peaceful protests in DC. Its not news. It only becomes news when the capitol is attacked

Bingo. I can’t wait to see how supposedly moderate Biden handles all the Republican bills handed to him in his last two years of his term. There may be none if the Democrats use the filibuster appropriately.

The protesters were not invited in, unless it was done by people acting on their own and not in their official capacity.

They were trespassing and interrupting the activities of Congress.

Why was there a need to "seal" the video that shows protesters entering? Just because it was fairly peaceful in some of the video, it still was fully illegal. So the video proves trespassing by everyone (other than officials on duty) in it.

If you don't want conspiracy theories, don't hide things.

Again, there is no excuse for what happened...but there are questions about how they are investigating and prosecuting the affair.
