Reopening fiasco?

We have the vaccines. Whether or not there will be new variants even after Delta is unknown. Just open everything up and keep it open. Whoever dies, dies.

You're either going to lockdown, or you're not. We went for half-measures. It might be too late now even if we did an actual lockdown.

Once we’re down to mostly just people who won’t get vaccinated, might as well get them infected as much as our health system can tolerate at one time. Letting them run around producing more chances of variants is not a good long term plan.

Who cares if the health system hits peak tolerance? If that happens, then you simply don't admit them.

I dont know about you but I have compassion for humans no matter how dumb
I wear a mask indoors when shopping.
Its mostly for the employees that have to interact with many people throughout the work day

We had one chance to basically eradicate this thing and we failed. The only way to have done it would have been complete lockdowns with the National Guard doing food deliveries to houses, medical staff being isolated in the medical facilities, etc.

Search my posts. I called it from the beginning. Of course, I wouldn't have done any Government ordered lockdowns at all.

Annoying as it is hard to lead a normal life. But I have not met or known anyone who got sicker than the yearly flu.

The fewer masks the better.

How, exactly, could we have such a complete lockdown? Completely impossible. Reality is if a bug is going to go around it is going to go around. One thing we should have learned is how interlocked everything is in our world.
