It is public record, easily found out, which Texas legislators voted for the abortion restrictions. If their constituents feel strongly that these legislators made a mistake, then the voters can vote them out. I’m not holding my breath. Did I read Supreme Court voted 5-4 to uphold Texas’ right to enact that law? I am 100% in favor of abortion rights, but it is quite low down on my list of important issues to decide if I will vote for a candidate.

You're not a woman.

Court opted not to act on lower court decisions.

The Court spoke in a way that virtually assures the opportunity for a case to actually move forward to that level in the future:

""In particular, this order is not based on any conclusion about the constitutionality of Texas's law, and in no way limits other procedurally proper challenges to the Texas law, including in Texas state courts," the majority wrote."

We will see what happens from here.

I believe Biden’s ‘spend spend spend’ policies have been and will continue to be inflationary. And are exploding the deficit in unprecedented amounts.

Stock market approves
Its not how much we spend
But
What we spend it on
Infrastructure is good for business
This is an expense that will pay us back in a stronger economy standing on a solid infrastructure

The issue I do care about is the fiasco at the southern border. The number of immigrants getting across has been staggering and overwhelming.

Cheap labor, hopefully prices will go down.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Unless you're one who thinks Trump actually won, the public rendered judgment that the strongest border control president in decades was not enough of an issue to reelect him.

The bidumb administration does next to nothing to secure our southern border and has previously cancelled construction on the border wall but is now going to build border facilities to help the Tajikistans secure their border.

"Build back better" the Tajikistans. LOL LOL

You can make this sh-- up.

We don't need a wall.

What we need is a strict border policy which is rigorously enforced.

Fill out paperwork and wait til it is approved BEFORE you try to come here, be it for asylum or anything else.

For sure, do NOT let wetbacks who cross illegally stay here til their case is heard; send em back ASAP.

Have a no exceptions policy that anyone who is caught crossing illegally can NEVER come back to the USA.

Works for me.

A couple "feel good" stories to end the day:
