All 2020 proved was that Republicans will engage in violent insurrection to hold on to power if they lose at the ballot box and in the courts, and cannot be trusted with the levers of government at any level.

My point is voter fraud occurs at an insignificant prevalence and does not impact the outcomes of elections. And you can't prove me wrong.

Your point is you do not care about fraud.

There was no "insurrection." Just a minor demonstration that got out of hand. If it was BLM you would have cheered it.

I care more about voter suppression than voter fraud. I worry more about being stove by a whale whenever I go sailing than I do about outcome determinative voter fraud. You know why that is? It's because voter fraud occurs at an insignificant prevalence and does not impact the outcomes of elections. And you can't prove me wrong. Rinse and repeat as necessary.

I sincerely wish MAGA gets out of hand again when Congress meets to count the EV in Jan 2025. I sincerely wish, this time, the Capital Police, the DC Police, the DC National Guard meet them head on with automatic weapons and fixed bayonets.

Anyone like Duffman who doesn't care about what happened on Jan 6 can't honestly claim they care about election security.

Jan 6 was about having and needing election security as there were so many holes in it as to legit question the results.

No it was about fake claims and actual prosecuted fraud, led by the biggest fraudster President, Trump.

The claims were real. The establishment hoped Trump supporters would just go along with their coup. After all we are talking about the same establishment that impeached over a phone call.

Putin would hire you. He needs people that can make completely stupid claims.

Never ceases to amaze how often Duffman loses an argument and immediately pivots to “you think men can be women!”

Just weak.

I went to visit my parents this weekend in Ohio.

They mentioned that they still randomly receive absentee ballots for me at their house. They got one already for me for the 2024 election.

This is strange because:

1) I haven’t lived in Ohio in well over a decade
2) I never lived in the house that they currently live in - why are ballots with my name getting sent there when my name has never been associated with that house?

I’m pretty sure the last election where I voted in Ohio was in 2010. Ohio - totally controlled by the GOP for many years - has been purging inactive voters for a while now. Why haven’t they purged me? Wonder if it’s because I’m a white male and they think I’m on their side. lol

While I have no reason to disagree with Mom and Pop, I have some questions: (1) Are they receiving ballots, or are they receiving absentee ballot request forms? (2) Are these mailings coming from official sources-the state or county or municipal elections officials-or private third parties? Some private address databases are wildly erroneous. (3) Are these mailings arriving "randomly", or do they come around election time each election?

During Covid times in 2020, a MAGA cousin of mine got all bent out of shape on FB about how Massachusetts was mailing mail-in ballots to everyone and it's voter fraud and blah blah blah. The usual MAGA bull. So I asked her, which town clerk is doing this, because here in MA it's impossible for a town clerk to do that and to check again and post a picture of the "ballot" if she dared. Turns out it wasn't a ballot, but a mail-in ballot request from mailed to all registered voters. She has since retreated from being so MAGA and a Covid denier (a long COVID hospitalization does that). So Maybe Mom and Pop are well-meaning, but just innocently mistaken in telling you what is coming to the house in your name? Have you seen the mailings in question?

Or it could be the GOP is counting on your white dude support!

I specifically asked if they were the actual ballots or just applications for absentee ballots, and they said they were the actual ballots. They say they always get sent a ballot for me there for every election.

I told them not to commit a felony - don’t fill it out.

Heck one would think since he doesn't support trans women, he might be a champion for biological. Nope. MGTOW.

That makes zero sense. You are the one does not support biological women via your support of trans women who are actually male.

No idea why MGTOW gets you all bent out of shape. No idea why so many people get bent out of shape over it. No idea why people who think gay or trans is normal get bent out of shape over it.

Sounds like someone's done gone effed up. If they truly are ballots, mailed unsolicited, then the elections clerk really blew it.

They should not even be mailing out ballot requests. Just have a phone number and website to call/use. Too much room for fraud when you mail it out to everyone unsolicited, as we saw proven in 2020.

I don’t know how the nuts and bolts of this work. Could your parents have just filled it out as they wish and mailed it in? And then if you voted in your state would anyone ever know? I’m not saying this is a Democrat or Republican thing, but I (would guess?) that plenty of younger people vote for their addled parents. And some for their kids who moved away, like you!
