Sounds like you aren't even looking, which is a shame: "what could have been..." But my good buddy is like you in that he gave up and doesn't try to meet anybody; twice-divorced he has health issues he'd find embarrassing when sleeping with a mate, i.e.sleep apnea and restless leg syndrome. But what's your excuse for turning your back? |

What could have been? If I had a wife and kids I probably would have killed myself years ago.
My excuse reason is that I never wanted kids. Not for a minute in my life. Finding a good woman who does not want kids was next to impossible when I was younger. By my mid-20s finding one that was not a single mom was hard in itself. The others were on a mission to have kids. The few who did not want kids were nutjobs. The other reason is how dangerous marriage is for men. Financial wipeout late in life way too possible. No thanks. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |
