Hardly the only thing, just the example. But your response shows how you do not understand what SCOTUS is about. It does not matter if "times are moving forward." The law is the law is the law. If the people want to change the law they need to get the legislature to do so. Laws are contracts, same as the constitution. You do not just decide they are void because a special interest group does not like them.
Who said it had to do with Obama? I am aware he was still shoving cocaine up his nose when Bork was attacked. The point is the dirty tricks the Democrats pull when it comes to SCOTUS.
