Hardly the only thing, just the example. But your response shows how you do not understand what SCOTUS is about. It does not matter if "times are moving forward." The law is the law is the law. If the people want to change the law they need to get the legislature to do so. Laws are contracts, same as the constitution. You do not just decide they are void because a special interest group does not like them.

Who said it had to do with Obama? I am aware he was still shoving cocaine up his nose when Bork was attacked. The point is the dirty tricks the Democrats pull when it comes to SCOTUS. I realize your lifetime is your span of interest, but history goes further back.

Marriage laws are mostly handled by the states. DOMA allowed states to not recognize marriage licenses issued in other states (if they felt that they did not meet their criteria, which was used almost exclusively for conservative states to not recognize gay married couples).

So the argument "just move to a state where it is legal" has little validity... Because I could live in Vermont, but may have to travel for business, may want to vacation in another state etc....

The only fair and logical answer is to allow gay marriage in all states and not allow any state not to recognize it....

If some of the states did not let drivers from other states drive on their roads because they felt that their driving exam was not thorough enough (which you could make a much more logical argument for, some states have much tougher standards to obtain a license), you would be losing your mind. If you live in Nevada and suddenly it was a crime to drive in California without applying and obtaining a California license (because California feel Nevada's driving exam is too easy or whatever....) , you would be going on nonstop about how it is unfair....

Yes, there is no law requiring all states and territories to recognize each others license (there is an agreement that basically, with some exceptions, all are members of saying they will do so, of course even the states not on the compact will allow out of state drivers, they just don't want to be bound by it, in their words anyway). http://apps.csg.org/ncic/Compact.aspx?id=56

I would have been fine with that......................as long as all states were required to recognize each other's conceal carry permits.

Which I think they should.

I think its unfortunate how you can legally carry in one state, but if you cross state lines without realizing it, you can end up in jail during a routine traffic stop for something that you are permitted by your home state. (this actually happens not infrequently).

Well, I posted that someone attempted to send ricin to POTUS and you then claim you are Heisenberg/The One Who Knocks -- that implies you are the one that caused the ricin envelope to be sent

I took a screenshot of his post as further evidence. Thanks. 👍

So, are you claiming responsibility for this after stating you wished harm would come to POTUS Trump?

Susan Collins has released a statement:

She is the furthest left of all the Republican senators and further left than a few of the Democrat senators. This is a surprise and means something?

Shrek posts 800 gifs a day and no one pays him any attention.

I post one harmless Breaking Bad gif and three of our righties (two of whom claim to have me blocked) lose their minds over it.

I LOVE it. lol

Once again, you have no insight when it comes to the context of when/where things were said (i.e. Grassley) and now, your "Say my name" gif in response to my posting a news article that someone attempted to assassinate the President of the United States of America by sending ricin in the mail -- it is obvious now that (a) you do intend to harm the POTUS or (b) you are trolling this board on a 1st grade level that should not be tolerated by the mods

Either way - I shall bid this forum an adieu as I no longer wish to bear witness to either (a) or (b)

WIZARD, kindly issue a self-imposed ban forthwith until further notice

ESIT: After discussing the above with EB,I have decided to strike out my request

Thank you
