In the context of the news of RBG's passing - that implies they made some formative statement upon learning of her passing

Here you go - I found it BUT, you are quoting it out of context as he said he would not take up a nomination IF he was the Judiciary Chairman - never stated he wouldn't vote on it and, since he is not the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, the quote is meaningless
