Men haven”t been expected to devote as much time to childcare, even in the same situation.

I remember my mom both being at home for many years and also a period where she worked part time and full time. My dad was never in that rotation.

The leader of the USA is the leader of the world so far. The person we put in that position needs to have a certain amount of swagger and bluster when dealing with the heads of other potentially hostile states, and states that hold the majority of hydrocarbons and also N. Korea. Our president needs a "commanding presence".

Whether its right or wrong headed doesn't matter, other predominantly male lead country's will treat a woman differently. A woman with multiple children by multiple fathers wouldn't be respected by other country's, just the way it is. When America does get a female president, that will be the issue we will be fighting her entire administration, and we will lose our roll as leader of the world. A woman "may be" a better American leader, who knows, but possibly not a better world leader, at least now. We have to consider how our president will be viewed by the other Superpowers. The good ole boy system is still alive and well on the world stage.
