Nobody is really getting slammed. Cases are up but there is no requirement to report your self testing positive. Although not all that high the US still has a higher vaccination rate which keeps people out of the hospital. The countries that stayed locked down for the first 2 years have a ton of cases now but relatively few deaths with the milder strains. "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you." I think you are right about another lockdown. I will be doing some international travel next month so I hope they do extend the mask mandate. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |
