I would not mind that being lifetime. Time to close the ATM that is politics. Make it so people spend a few years and get out. The President is a fink. |

Oddly enough the staff here are enjoying very light workloads: no visitors, few elective procedures, far less to do than normal shifts the burden all falls on the triage people at admitting and it seems they don't have anyone going into isolation. Hand washing lotions are EVERYWHERE and doors are on full security. If two people are walking together they each badge through the door separately, but actual workload is very light so far. |

What do you mean by "special numbered accounts"? The more disclosure, the better. Some (not all) of these scandals could be avoided if they just own index funds and/or mutual funds. Owning stocks in individual companies is probably a bad idea. |

Easy. I believe brokers used to have to have the same thing. If you are in Congress you would have to disclose that to your broker and you would get a special account number. Maybe it would start "444" and thus be "444-xxxx-xxxx-xxx." The same special numbering could be used for the Cabinet and perhaps others of high enough rank to warrant disclosure. Then the "444s" would be monitored by a dedicated watchdog, logically part of the SEC but it could be independent. They would have the aforementioned 2-4 week "locked waiting period" before a trade could be made. FWIW I would require the company stock of corporate insiders to be the same way. They would not have to lock all their assets, just their company stock and make it just for publicly traded companies with over a billion in market cap. The President is a fink. |
