“We therefore chose to synthesize peptides from HIV-2 and several human coronaviruses (SARS, OC43, and 229E) that corresponded to T20/DP178 in HIV-1. An alignment of sequences is shown in Table 1 , which also includes the newly discovered coronaviruses HKU-1 and NL-63 [30], [31], [32] and the aromatic rich region from the Ebola spike protein.”
