Just returned from a cruise. Chatted with the waitress in St. Maarten a lot. Business down a lot according to her. She said you could usually look out the window and see dozens of lost looking Chinese tourists. Now virtually none.

The island of St. Maarten and St. Martin is my favorite place in the world. We spend 10 days there every year and will be going back in May. Orient Beach is my utopia.

Some Dems rooting against the economy.

Have you checked Breibart lately
I find the comments from conservatives over there surprising
They love the stock market crashing
This is a good thing according to lots of comments from conservatives

Breitbart still exists? Haven't visited that site in a while.

Lemonade out of lemons. It does present buying opportunities. Might as well make something of it.

I don't call taking advantage of it "rooting for it" as some Liberals have done. I think everyone knows that the market goes up and down in cycles; the ones rooting for it wanted it to go down to keep Trump from being re-elected.

How about presenting a great candidate and just beating him?

As of TODAY best estimate of number of flu deaths in US this flu season..... 30,000.
How many could have been avoided if dodos got immunized? No way to tell.
Best estimate of malaria deaths in Africa TODAY>>>>>> 1,100!
Are we up to 25 coronavirus deaths in US yet?

Not saying ignore it...... but we have lost all perspective.

Blah blah blah... you can't place a value on a human life..... But the canceled events do harm to those who wanted to participate. The economic devastation.... and it will be devastating to the hot dog salesman at the arena that now sits empty, and the maid who has no hotel room to clean, and the restaurant owner who makes no money with an empty restaurant, and the casino dealer who is furloughed, and the travel agent who has no flights to book, and the airlines that have a huge nut to pay while their planes fly half empty........

You think high school graduations won't be canceled? Proms?

No single thing I mentioned is end of the world, but added up they help make life worth living.

Presidential address from the Oval Office tonight at 9 pm EST.

At least it will be scripted, I guess... when he speaks off the cuff on this stuff it tends to tank the markets.

Received this the other day, quite interesting and will help put into perspective what the spread could look like.

I believe they are expecting it to spread faster and easier than the flu, and so far it has been deadlier than the flu, as a percentage of total infections. I think that is why the reaction has been so strong by some organizations.

We are using the "four stage" strategy.

What is the point of the White house keeping what they know about Corona, secret?
