The above post is from Aug 29. Friday they moved her to a hospital with ECMO {extracorporeal membrane oxygenation}, but after an x-ray said both lungs were collapsed and as far as I know they never put her on it.

I don't know what they're doing. Chest tubes?

I assume there has been some sort of tissue breakdown from the infection.

It's funny because when I first came here, I always assumed that the libbies were all in their 20's because of what they say and how they write. I was correct about 2 of them (to my knowledge), but I was dead wrong about the RV guy. I swear I was shell shocked when I found out he's in his 60's. I seriously thought he was somewhere between 18-23. But now that I've learned more about him, it all makes sense now....
