If you get it, you could still die just as dead. Hard to say if people will stay vigilant enough if things become more normalized.

It actually is time to start talking about it. There needs to be a plan for moving forward.

Deaths are up but places are starting see less hospitalizations. The death peak would lag in any case because of the generally long course of the disease, just like the number recovered lags.

I am not saying we should open up too quickly, but we do need a plan.

Imagine if 60,000+ Americans had died in 2014 from Ebola. I’m sure our righties would have been thanking Obama for his great work.

Where do you get your info? 14.5K have died so far. That is 44 people / million of population. Who knows where we will get to in deaths but the current numbers are not large. You do realize that the number of deaths always rises, that it is only in movies that people come back to life?

You are getting the tests you were whining about not long ago. The US leads the world in the number of tests 2.2 million and counting (say thank you Trump). Try real hard to think about this a little and you might be able to see that the increasing number of people with Covid could be related to the increased tests.
