It's going to be difficult for his listeners to think for themselves again after all this time. Who will fill that giant gaping void? I know that Hillary and Obama's leases aren't up yet, so who's going to move in next door? |

You're kidding, right? Rush spawned a whole genre of right wing talk show hosts that are going strong. Sean Hannity, Tammy Bruce, Mark Belling, Herman Cain, Neal Boortz, Larry Elder, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Michael Medvad, Michael Savage, and many many more. Conservative talk radio isn't going anywhere. Rush had his hayday in the 90's and 2000's. He's still good, but not as good as he used to be. If you take a risk, you may lose. Think for themselves? That is what Rush teaches you to do. Notice it is not the Rush listeners who are unable to make a logical argument. They are not the ones who say "FOUR LEGS GOOD, TWO LEGS BAD" when challenged. They are not the ones who scream "RACIST" when they cannot make a logical argument. The left started a whole radio network to try to compete with Rush. All they did was lose millions. The President is a fink. |

He single-handedly reinvented talk radio. Before Rush the idea of a talk show without daily guests and unabashedly taking one side was unheard of. Now it is the norm. Rush showed the power of radio when done right, he hated doing TV. The President is a fink. |

What I thought was the onset of just a cold during Friday’s show turned out to be the flu and I was in a super-secret hospital all weekend being successfully treated by the absolute best doctors. For you leftists, the nurses all loved me! Must be the beard… Anyway, this flu is unrelated to anything else going on with my health. In fact, I could probably be there today but my doctors are insisting on a veritable quarantine as I prep for the beginning of my treatment regimen. First of all, I have not ONCE seen a Rush listener on this board have a different viewpoint than the one Rush was pushing that day. And logical argument? When you spend two years dividing the country over peaceful protests of the national anthem, calling NFL players sons of bitches, saying "you must stand proudly" or "maybe you shouldn't be in the country", and then when Trump himself is seen acting LIKE A CHILD during the anthem while EVERYBODY else are acting like adults, even his teenager son who has learned that while his mom was breastfeeding him, his childish make up spray on tan comb over dad was boinking a porn star, knew how to act. And when confronted with this blatant hypocrisy your "logical" argument was, "why should he have to stand proudly? It's on TV? Who cares THAT THE REST OF THE ROOM IS STANDING PROUDLY?" You guys are the biggest group of hypocrites the world has ever seen. A pile of dog crap could deficit spend a trillion bucks ion a "roaring" economy and get 2.3% GDP, but yet, when Obama was getting similar numbers WHILE CUTTING THE DEFICIT HE INHERITED,, you said that the economy was in trouble. While Trump's BEST quarter of GDP is Obama's 5th best quarter and he has YET to achieve 3% GDP annually, something that Obama was criticized for, but is now celebrated by Trump and his supporters. |
