Incidentally, there's a ride at Disneyland based on Song of the South even though it was never released on VHS, DVD, or Blu-Ray! One of the lead actors in film was prohibited to attend the movie's premiere in Atlanta due to his skin color. Thank you for the correction.

You should make your kids watch the original, then they'll appreciate how weak the sequel is. I'm genuinely surprised that there are people who haven't seen the original. It is such a well known piece of western culture, and it has been easily accessible for decades.
