Coming home after work, always thought guilty.

My wife isn't like that. But she's a
total control freak, everything has
to be done exactly as she wants it.
If you don't, she'll get pissed and stay
pissed for hours. I kept unconsciously
trying to avoid her till I found a way
to avoid her completely without getting
a divorce. My fear is that I might have
to live with her again someday. Maybe
by then I won't care.

Both thoughts don't have to be exclusive. After I knew the end was coming, about 15 years before it did. I tried fixing my end of it with work therapy. A lot of guys just start putting in more hours trying not to go home.

I try to console myself of the monetary loss, by telling myself she was the best child care I could afford. Even at that, the final tally was hefty. Not to mention opportunity lost.

.

I've had a couple older Uber drivers admit
they do it just to get away from the wife.
Work a full time job and then 4 hours of
driving just so they won't have to go home.
I totally understand. I'm sure a lot of Uber
drivers are like that. I grew up believing
all wives were June Cleaver. Not quite..

No stone left unhurled when you have EB posting. I didn't expect anything better, with him trashing every thread.

I've never heard that usage before. Then again, I'm not convinced it is a real word at all.

To be honest, I never heard it before.
I looked it up and there it is. Who
knew.

You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

I understand the premise of the thread. However the line between women trashing men, or men trashing women is often crossed as soon as someone with an axe to grind shows up.

I didn't find Odious's post objectionable btw. Just my own fault there.

However as this site is approved for controversial subjects, I have no problem with anything existing, just that I will chime in when I feel like it as I would do on all threads.
