reason has been lost. Blame it on
god is always the solution when
you don't know the real explanation.

Similar to why, shouldn't ancient people eat pork. I can believe maybe people ate it after it was spoiled or caught trichonosis , some chief declared pork would make you sick or kill you.

As far as big tusk'd boars being to dangerous to hunt, I disagree. The Eskimo's ate lots of Grizzly bear, boars . Cave men ate dinosaurs. Whoever was making up the story back then, didn't understand bacteria well enough. One myth after another, being destroyed.

At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.

It was years before I realized that the two couples of The Flinrstones were derived from if not totally ripped off from The Honeymooners. It might be said that Archie Bunker was also derived from Ralph/ Fred.
The mind hungers for that on which it feeds.
