Is Bolton really that much of a dunce
that he has a ton of secret classified
material in his book? Good grief.

Two-faced back-stabbing is common in Washington, DC. But Trump has a terrible track record with deceitful friends and appointees compared to other Presidents.

Make a list of all the disloyal Reagan associates who betrayed & double-crossed Reagan.
Make a list of all the disloyal Bush 43 associates who betrayed & double-crossed Bush 43.
Make a list of all the disloyal Clinton associates who betrayed & double crossed Clinton.
Make a list of all the disloyal Bush 45 associates who betrayed & double-crossed Bush 45.
Make a list of all the disloyal Obama associates who betrayed & double-crossed Obama.

Now... make a list of all the Trump associates who betrayed & double-crossed Trump. Rex Tillerson, James Mattis, Michael Cohen, John Bolton, John Kelly, Omarosa, Lev Parnas, Igor Fruman, Anthony Scaramucci, Gordon Sondland.

I have watched much of the impeachment “trial” and have a few observations.

The house management team got shredded by the President’s team during the “trial”. During the question and answer period, many times the “house’s team” did not/would not answer the question asked. Lofgren, Nadler, Garcia and Jeffries (to name a few) were complete jokes. I don’t think they could answer basic questions without reading from their notebooks. Why the dems would put them on the team is a complete mystery. On the other hand, one of the President’s lawyers, Patrick Philbin, was a star, almost single-handedly destroying the dems.

If I were in the senate I would rather shoot myself than listen to another word from lying pencil neck adam schiff. His mask has been removed and the entire senate can see what a pontificating pompous clown ass he is.

As to witnesses, hmmmmmm

Said by the house impeachment managers: We have provided overwhelming evidence

---Said by the house managers and dem senators: we need more witnesses

Said by the house impeachment managers: the guilt is proven

---Said by the house managers and dem senators: we need more witnesses

If you think the above look ridiculous, imagine how it would look like if I repeated the statements such as: “we have proven our case beyond any doubt” or “the case has been proven” or “the case is rock solid” or “we have provided overwhelming evidence” or “the guilt is proven” or “the case has been proven” 45 more times.

I say this because during the “trial”, the house impeachment managers have said those or similar statements over 65 times while at the same time crying for the need for more witnesses.

What a farce.

It's beyond a farce. They say they
having overwhelming evidence
of impeachable crimes, yet want
witnesses they never called. It's
such an obvious stall tactic, a
5 year old can see thru it. The
whole country is laughing at
them.

Yes it was overwhelming evidence for a normally unbiased person that Trump is guilty. But most of these Republican senators aren't that. So as much evidence as available should be brought in, particularly uncontested witnesses like Bolton who aren't going to refuse.

But not of impeachable crimes. Clinton
was guilty of a bunch of crimes and nobody
argued it. The vote to get rid of him still
went right down party lines. Just like it will
here. To oust a president his popularity
would have to be about 12% in his own
party. Trump's is about 95%.

I watched some of Rachel Madcow tonight.
My God. Is she watching the same Senate trial
that I'm watching? Dershowitz made a buffoon
out of himself. Obviously McConnell put the fix
in right from the start that there was going to
be no trial. This whole thing is a sham and a
disgrace. At least she got that part right, a
shame and a disgrace on the side of the Democrats.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

How about this for a prediction......
If Republicans allow witnesses, they keep the Senate in 2020. If they don't, they lose the Senate. You read it here first.

Here's to hoping you're right!

Your premise is bogus. The Senate isn't the same group that made any of the decisions of the house managers. They can do what they want in regard to witnesses, and aren't responsible for that decision. They haven't yet made any mistakes.

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make.

Nadler appears to steal podium from Schiff in viral impeachment moment

I quote parts:

Quote:
"Could you please respond to the answer just given by the president's counsel and provide any other comments the Senate would benefit from hearing before we adjourn for the evening?" Roberts read from the card.

Nadler is then seen jumping out of his chair and rushing to the center podium, quickly getting the attention of Schiff, who also leaped from his seat.

"Jerry. Jerry. Jerry," Schiff is heard saying as he took a few steps towards Nadler, but failed to stop him from speaking.

Even MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell weighed in on how "fast" Nadler got to the podium.

"Adam Schiff stood. He was ready to go to the podium. He only had to do about three steps to get there. Jerry Nadler had to do about 12. It's the fastest I've seen Jerry Nadler move, in the 25 years that I've known him," O'Donnell told the panel.
