You know, I do think "Dominion" is an awfully bad name for election hardware or software. | Gandler Member since: Aug 15, 2019 Threads: 30 Posts: 5258 | I had a dinner tonight with two people who are very big Trump people, and it felt like I was having dinner with certain members here (I am never the one to bring up politics). A lot of people seem to assume that I am a Trump fan because I guess I give off conservative vibes so people like to "talk Trump" with me.... Both were insistent that Trump won the election and that Trump was "playing chess while Biden was playing checkers" and something about some law (which neither could cite) where if the vote was found to be fraudulent the sitting President gets another term "automatically" and then can run again in four years (meaning 3 terms its the one legal way to have three terms). [There is no such law by the way for anyone here who is getting excited] . I wish I was making this up. I cannot believe that educated and relatively smart people are buying into this nonsense and talking about it in real life... Also, I was shown videos on TikTok (some social media platform with short video posts, makes me very happy to be social media free) as proof (apparently its the only social media company that is not biased or some nonsense. A quick google search and it is owned by China lol.....) Wow this has been a strange year.... |

Practically every rightwinger I know of confidently states Gov. Cuomo killed a bunch of people in nursing homes. Shouldn't there be well-publicized lawsuits all over rightwing media? Expensive and difficult case to prove. We do know Cuomo’s March directive sent more than 6,300 covid patients into nursing homes. We know he stopped counting nursing home deaths in May. We know he sent dying nursing home patients to hospitals where they were counted as hospital deaths instead of nursing home deaths. We know, because of the coverup, nursing home deaths are undercounted. In Bizarro World, that earns you book deal and an Emmy. |

My prediction is that his monthly pardon rate will skyrocket these next two months. With investigations of Trump heating up, it is rumored that he may attempt to pardon himself. I would not put anything past him at this point... Unknown if such a pardon would hold, but luckily he cannot pardon himself from state charges (and NY investigations into his fraud, shocking I know, are really heating up).
