The above is why, despite my disdain for the man, Donald Trump, I am more afraid of whoever the Democrats get elected. The lack of respect for the rule of law from the left is the biggest threat to America that I see. Autonomous zones supported by elected Democrat officials (Seattle), actual elected Democrat officials (Minneapolis) voting to have no police department, decision made not to use the full strength of your police department to protect lives and property (NYC), multiple 'sanctuary cities' where illegal immigrants are shielded from capture from Federal agents, I can go on and on.... |

Some people conveniently ignore that the cities in most states are largely bastions of Democrats. I am willing to concede that opening bars may have contributed to the current spike but the left continually ignores the fact that thousands of people in close quarters yelling at the top of their lungs may have also played a role in what is going on right now. I hear "but a lot of them had masks on"...do those people not realize that hundreds, maybe thousands, of health care and other front line folks go the virus with masks on? Oh right...the protests on the right cause Covid...those the left favors more did not. |

It’s starting to appear this way. There just haven’t really been meaningful spikes in the areas where the biggest protests took place. Righties have been waiting weeks to be able to blame the protestors on the uptick in cases, but so far they just can’t find stats to back it up.
