For clinton, the republicans wanted to cut Medicare, add a bunch of legislation that was objectionable and wouldn't otherwise be able to pass, and lock in a 7 year budget

For Obama, again it was a cut by congress, again to a program that had already been approved by congress, in other words another attempt by the minority at the time to stop something approved by the majority.

In Trump's case, he wants funding for something not approved by congress at all.

LIE! There was no "cut" to medicare, just a reduction in growth rate. The "objectionable" legislation was to prohibit the census bureau from "sampling" to get a count. IOW, to do the census constitutionally.

LIE! The House approved the wall funding, the Democrats in the Senate filibustered it. It would have passed on a simple majority vote.

Maybe you can explain why the Democrats were fine with a wall before Trump was elected?

You are correct. They wanted to approve many times what Trump is asking when Obama was in office.

For the truth deniers, Trump has already reinforced his original statement by saying HE may have to shutdown the government AGAIN if he doesn't get his wall.

an emergency and gets immediately shot
down by half a dozen Leftie judges.
He orders a fast track thru SCOTUS and
they say, yup, he has the right to do
that. And Trump gets the money from
a lot of places and builds the wall.

Will take less than a week after he
declares the emergency.

If that’s such a slam dunk win for him, why didn’t he do that in December? Or after one week of shutdown before his poll numbers really tanked? Why wait?
