I think caving on this shut down, and offering what amounted to amnesty for DACA will cost him any re-election ? I don't believe he will shut it down again. That would really po Wall street.

If that’s such a slam dunk win for him, why didn’t he do that in December? Or after one week of shutdown before his poll numbers really tanked? Why wait?

Because he needed to exhaust every
other avenue, to make it apparent to
all that Pelosi absolutely refuses to
make a deal. The public see's that
clearly now, and so will the court.
It's all been part of the plan, Scott
Adams laid it out even before the
shutdown happened. And he's been
100% right so far.

So the President gets to bypass Congress as long as he's been proven too inept to be able to negotiate a deal with the duly elected members of Congress? That's what you're banking on the Supreme Court allowing?

Good luck.

So you missed all the offers he made to
the House? What network do you watch?
You missed Pelosi saying "NO!" before
she even saw the last offer?

Really?

Perhaps he should have tried to get Americans to pay for his wall in the first two years of his term when the GOP had total control...

Elections have consequences.

Mcconnell played hardball with Obama saying no. Conservatives applaud
Pelosi says no to Trump and some conservatives have a meltdown

"There's not going to be any wall money in the legislation," she told reporters"

"Pelosi also rejected as a "non-starter" the Republican president's offer of a temporary three-year protection for young "Dreamers" in exchange for a permanent wall." Which is tantamount to amnesty.

Who is going to blink first, or will Trump "shut it down" again ? Or will he come up with some reason to try and save face, but not do another partial shutdown?

Which team will President Trump pick to win?

Los Angeles Rams +1000
New England Patriots -500
No Prediction +250

This seems like a faulty line! Take LAR and No for $100 each?
The President is a fink.

Priced into that line:
1. Belichick and Brady each backed Trump
2. L.A. Is well, L.A.

Trump says what the first shutdown was
is called 'setting the table' for what is
to come. He said it's in his book. You
set the table, you get ready for the
main course.
