The Trump implosion thread!

The press certainly never 'got it'. They
laughed and laughed at the size of the
Trump rallies, when they even mentioned
them, which wasn't often. The network
cameras would never show the size of the
crowd, it terrified them. What if 25K people
showing up actually meant something.

As soon as I find an enthusiastic Trump supporter whose opinion I respect I might change my opinion about Trump.

Between the craven power seekers, partisan hacks, the delusional and the doofuses, there's not much to be said for the enthusiastic people.

Anyone else with a working brain in their head who voted for Trump acts like a person whose bare foot is suspended over a snake still trying to decide if it's poisonous or not.

the huge crowds that filled stadiums
when Obama ran in '08, because
it meant nothing. In fact, they crowed
about them non stop, it's all we heard.

Well, it would be similar if Obama had created similar disunity/discomfort among the Democrats all the way up to the inauguration.

What cracks me up is, the media is now
plotting to deride everything Trump

just threw everything they had at him
24/7 for the last 18 months and he was
still elected in a landslide. Now they
think they can destroy his presidency?

It's Reagan all over again. They hated his
guts but he still managed to be best president
of the 20th century even with the media
