I read a novel some years back, I forget the title and author, where the president elect dies before the EC meets. A kerfuffle ensues, the electros wind up voting for the winning ticket anyway, but the VP elect, resigns after being sworn in as president.

So even in fiction, the EC is a mindless rubber stamp.

I might be game for alien insect overlords showing up about now. At least when people vote like their brain has been sucked out, it actually will have been sucked out. Everyone will have a good excuse.

had the most faithless EC voters in 145
years, not 100. Millennials are in the

Had only millennials voted, Clinton would've won the election in a landslide, with 473 electoral votes to Trump's 32.

I have to agree with what Rush said
today, that he hopes the unhinged
lunatic Left keeps doing things like
screaming at Ivanka on public planes.
It does incredible damage to their
brand and makes them look like pitiable
sore losers. If they keep it up over
the next 4 years they could put a JFK
on the ticket and still lose by a huge
margin.
