The Democrats assumed no matter how bad things got, blue collar workers would NEVER vote for a Republican. And that every Hispanic was for illegal immigration. And blacks would turn out in droves to vote for an old white woman.

Anybody watching CNN today? Where did
Trump go, they never mention anything to
do with him. It's like yesterday never
happened. They had really talked themselves
into thinking 37 electors would bail, and
now they're in shock. Trump is really the
president, it's really gonna happen. This
is not the world their college professors
promised.

What's your point? A few months ago you observed that they talked about him a lot.

Did some other media outlet report something newsworthy about trump that they missed?

Ditto.

I haven't watched much cable news since the election. I got a bit addicted to it. That is one thing Donald is good for - he's very entertaining.

Working from home - I have a lot of time to watch daytime TV. November 8 was enough to get me to go cold turkey...

Point is, first they were obsessed with
the stupid ridiculous recount. Then
they were absolutely manic 24/7
about the EC vote, that it could turn
the election 'upside down'. When
it's finally over and Hillary has more
faithless voters than anybody in the
last 100 years, the media is nowhere
to be found, like the last month
never happened. It's amazing to see,
it's like Trump has fallen off the edge
of the earth.

Even you asked me how I would feel if
it happened and congress voted for
Kasich instead. So don't tell us you
weren't on the EC train too.

Really. How many electoral votes did I say would be faithless?

I believe "more than one" is as much on the bandwagon as I was.

There were also more than one who resigned and were replaced rather than being faithless electors.

I honestly wanted to know what you thought would happen in the extremely unlikely event that the electoral college sent the vote back to congress, as they are legally entitled to do.

Extremely unlikely. It would have surprised me more than the results of the election itself.

I didn't ask what would happen if they elected Clinton, as they would be legally entitled to do, because I considered that to be so unlikely that it wasn't even worth considering. I never thought any faithless electors would switch their vote TO Clinton.

You implied it could happen and
what would I think if it did.

I am disputing that this put me "on the EC train" as you put it.

Believe it or not, I do have the ability to discuss unlikely events without being convinced that they will actually happen.
