Read the Lochte apology
I think its pretty weak.
Sounds like it was written by a lawyer instead of being genuine.

The big Olympic story from last night
Mary Maroulis amazing win in Women's wrestling
She had to beat a legend, Japans Saori Yoshida, 13 time world champion, only lost 3 times in her entire career

I wonder how much his fib will cost him in endorsements.

Ryan Lochte goes on the air tonight
Matt Lauer is doing the interview.
My advice
Totally come clean. No excuses. The online apology was really weak.
Gotta do better

These have been a great Olympics. Plenty of naysayers predicted huge problems, especially crime
Brazil and Rio have done an A+ job putting on these games
Cant wait for Pyeongchang 2018
and
Tokyo 2020

Mo Farrah wins the 5000m in style, making him a double Gold winner for two straight years.

I had a lump in my throat as he took the last lap. Fantastic stuff.

I agree
What an incredible runner
He does it all.
He lurks in the back and wins
He takes the lead early and wins
Amazing

How about Matthew Centrowitz. 1st US winner in the 1500 since 1908.
Best part was his family in the stands going nuts

The olympics are just political in nature. Amateurs, my ass. Gave Jim Thorpe back his medals 70 years later, 30 years after his death. To this very day, the two men who Thorpe thoroughly trounced, Ferdinand Reinhardt BIE in the the pentathlon, and Hugo K. WIESLANDERin the decathlon, still appear on official website of the IOC as gold medal winners of those events.

Don't think the Olympics has been truly amateur for about 16 years or more. The IOC is a corrupt organization, but the athletes are hardly to blame.

I don't get this big deal between "professional" and "amateur" athletes. Not in the Olympics and not in the NCAA. Who really cares.

Yes, the IOC is corrupt, as are the individual Olympic committees in every country, but what does that have to do with the price of beer?

Professionals have been allowed in the games since 1992 or so.

The people at the top who don't want to end up paying for the talent, and keep the income for themselves?
