Self Made-man most often means someone who came from humble beginnings to become massively successful. I don't deny the second part, but Trump had a silver spoon in his mouth and a horseshoe up his backside. He's the poster child for the guy who gets put into pinch run on 3rd, gets home and thinks he's scored a home run.

Brand wise, he is a fantastic sales man and pushes that brand again, and again, and again. His sales job has worked on you, I see. I hope there's some substance behind him, because in many of his deals, there hasn't been. Trump's made out alright. He's successful at what he does.

Except, she was also the US Secretary State and US senator for New York. One might argue those positions have given you plenty of reasons -why- she's not fit to govern. Of course, lets denigrate her due to her marriage... it's a typical tactic that's super easy to see through.

Self-made men don't get million dollar loans from daddy and they don't have to have daddy as guarantor on all of their major projects.

Yep, Daddy was the son of an immigrant German, built himself up from a carpentry job to building homes and barracks. -That's- a self made man.

But claiming D. Trump is "self-made" does add more fraud to his fraudulent image.

Liberals think it was easy for him because he did not start out dead broke. Manhattan in the 1970s and 1980s was a wild west in so many ways. Times Square was a porno hub no good person went to Crime was everywhere. Cops were on the take. The mafia could shut your construction down at will and bankrupt you.

Give the average guy a $100 million business and he would either sell it and live off interest or just coast. Of those who would to expand it how many would fail? Probably 1/3 to 1/2. Few could make the empire Trump made.

Then there is his brand. Anyone can be given a TV show, but you cannot make people watch. How many other developers and businessmen have built such a persona?

Bill Maher has nicknamed Trump "Whiny Little B****." And it's perfect. He can't take criticism. He has the thinnest skin of anyone. Not very manly at all. Just because he has a pretty mail-order bride and talks tough does not make him manly.
