I believe the sensor is in the hub, not the tire. If you are just replacing the rubber you should be fine. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

Mounted on the wheel, tire has nothing to do with it. Been required in all cars for several years. Idea is hardly new, been around since at least the 1984 Corvette. The President is a fink. |

Sensors go bad all the time, and the pressure readings can vary from actual. To me, the only thing it is good for is to tell you a tire might be low, and if you are checking the pressure regularly, you will know this already. |

Shouldn't make a difference as the sensors measure psi not weight. The President is a fink. |

You had to change a tire here and there, it was inevitable. I can't remember the last time I had a flat tire. Has to be early 90's, 25 years ago. Same with headlights. Used to always carry a spare in the 60's and 70's. Now you can't change them yourself if you wanted to. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

The real money is in those little two piece plastic clips that hold everything together. What a racket! |

You're lucky, you must have a truck. On a car, it's not possible. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
