Napster merely enabled other people to violate copy right laws. Uber enables other people to provide cab rides to the general public as a part time or full time vocation.

Lets say "cab-type" rides. Still the difference is with Uber nobody is stealing anything from anyone.

Just a legit way to make $200 a day, plus expenses.

Uber's job isn't to give people rides, it's
to sign up new drivers. That's why all their
radio ad's are soliciting drivers, and not asking
for passengers. Uber even has a big reward
if you're a driver and sign up a newbie. It's
goal is to have every area clogged with Uber
drivers, so they can handle every call that
comes in. They could care less if the drivers
make any money, just like Ebay could care
less about the sellers. It's an unsustainable
business model, they will will eventually run
out of people willing to drive.

Here's what Uber does in every city. Where I
live, they started out charging riders $1.25 a
mile. When they had enough drivers, they
started charging $1 a mile to riders. They
dropped the price to .75 cents a mile earlier
this year. This makes the drivers frantic, they
now earn 40% less for the same number of
rides, so to make the same money they have
to pick up 40% more passengers.

This happens everywhere, they could care less
about the drivers because there is
a bottomless pit of morons who will drive for
them. For now.

Haven't seen it in almost 40 years,
I remember nothing about it.

The only memory I have is the answering machine
at the start of every episode.
