I'm sorry, Flea... this may be insensitive, but.... were you expecting the highpower law firm to work for free?
CONTINGENCY:
Consider the original malpractice of letting me leak fluid all over my floor while they dealt with an unauthorized firm who only supplied training software, not the device.. Even AFTER discharge I had to relearn walking and reading after hyper loss of brain cells and spinal fluid.

The water did not come from your lungs; it (as best I can tell from your story) came from your liver. Your breathing is easier because you have 40 pounds less useless fluid pressing on your diaphragm.

As far as ginger, onion, garlic, asparagus.... is someone preventing you from taking the stuff?
circunstances and money.

>>As far as the 'different assisted living', I am assuming the State is paying for it, right?
Will pay for it IF it ever materializes, I think itspie in the sky.

They say I should take my gout medivine, allopurinol, irrespective of the slight negative effect it has.
They want me to take Lasix/furosemide.
they want me to take KCLOR.

I see no benefits to them.

SO I AM NOW NOT TAKING ANY MEDS.
]tHEY HAD MEON ISCARBONAL AND IWAS SHITTIND WITHIN TWO MINUTES. ACCORDING TO INTERNET THIS IS GROUNDS FOR IMMEDIATE CESSATION OF THE DRUG BUT THEY KEPT ME ON IT FOR WEEKS AND I STLL SHIT MOST OFWHAT I EAT IN A FEW MINUTES..
SHOULD I TRUST THAT DOCTOR WHEN HE SAYS TAKE LASIX????

Lasix is the most common diuretic, or 'water pill'. You will probably retain more fluid if you do not take it. If you truly fully stop taking all your meds I doubt you will be posting here much longer..... You think the doctors are prescribing the meds to you to make THEM feel better? You act like the people busting their asses to help you are your enemies.... I assure you they are not! I think you have many medical problems that you just want to be able to blame on someone else.... not a good way to live.....

I agree with SOOPOO.

Also, to the extent that the Government is footing the bill for your medical treatment: the longer you live, the more your healthcare providers make.

Very good point. If you want to screw the medical providers die quicker.

And to make matters worse, your
caps lock key is stuck.

sORRY aBOUT tHAT.

All joking about the keyboard aside, I just took a Lasix/Furosemide pill but still can not obtain adjuvant juices.

i still have rotund belly, with a PRESUMED liver failure possible due to 'river flukes'. I still piss right and left (and diagonally)!

and i do blame it on doctors.

should i be drinking water when i'm trying to get rid of it?

Should i be on a high protein diet?

The answers to the two bottom questions cannot be made by any of us here, that is for sure! Depending on your liver failure, there are many types, you might need a low protein diet, maybe a normal diet, maybe a high protein diet! Sort of same answer with the water.... possible need for fluid restriction.... possible need to replace water/electrolytes lost via lasix....

Pick a doctor you don't 'blame it on' and ask him or her......

NO ACCESS, NONE.

TODAY:
LASIX IN MORING,
all pills and meals followe by virtually immediate urination and defecation.
Overa dozen urinations, many with virtually no warning.
electrolyte balance probably out of whack. can't tell.
no eyeglasses to read much of what might be on the web.
Started slumping in chair anf falling asleep while cold, so got into bed. once there renewed urgency
served snack of crackes and apple juice. felt better after crackes .Will take juice soon.
Waking in morning will be problematical.

Flea, as opposed to many in your condition, you certainly are interested in the details of your treatments. Try this. Anytime you have a question, write it down. You certainly will see a doctor at some point, especially if they are periodically draining your excess fluid. Have the list of questions armed and ready. If you don't understand an answer, say so! I have to say, around 1% of patients I took care of would be like that, and no matter how little I wanted to talk with them, they won! (MOST of the time I APPRECIATED their forethought!)

I just went to dollar store yesterday and bought 8 more pairs of 'cheaters'! $9 after tax. I probably lose or break a pair a month. Must be WAY cheaper than Amazon, so if you have any way to get there or have someone get there for you it is a money saver.
