They are serious about the game in S. Korea. When I was there for a business trip they had a cable channel that covered the game 24/7. I think they call it baduk. The mind hungers for that on which it feeds. |

This game really intrigues me The documentary is interesting in how differently humans and a computer approach the game A human will try to score points as situations develop because that's how you win The computer strategy is not to develop points as the game goes on but to make sure the computer has the majority in the end Thee human is looking at the small picture while the computer is constantly looking at the big picture end game Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Real big. Bigger then Elvis. He was a gigantic star in South Africa and he had no idea Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Great bad guy too, almost like a Bond villain. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Love the Cohen brothers. I'll watch anything they make 1st story was the best with Buster Scruggs. Its a hoot Really liked the bank robbing story. I liked the Orator story, the ending is haunting. Digging for gold pretty good The Wagon train, kind of a weird story but a great ending with the Indians The last story, stagecoach, kind of went nowhere Overall, I give it 4 out of 5 stars Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

It puts everything else to shame. 17,500 reviews on Prime, 92% are 5 stars. I've never seen that before. I watched season 1 six months ago, season 2 is in 10 days so I'm watching it again. The writing, the production values, the acting. This is almost like theatre and not TV. It captures the mood of the late 50's perfectly. The whole thing is marvelous. It was nominated for 11 Emmy's and won 8 of them. It should have won all 11.
