What they do show doesn't look that great much of the time anyway. They could take some guidance from Survivor on cast selection. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Why film them naked if they intend to pay a small fortune in bluring it out? >They could take some guidance from Survivor on cast selection. they should do something. One episode I saw was SINGLE CALIFORNIA TREE HUGGER VERSUS MARRIED RURAL FLORIDA FIGHTERMAN/OUTDOORSMAN/HUNTER/FISHERMAN. No chance for any relationship no chance for anything but his depression at not being "the provider". I wonder why they were in such a hurry to get to a water hole when they should have started weaving leaves into shoes or something and then gone for water. |

could it be improved by making it two single males and one single female? a contest to complete the trek AND win the "prize"? |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25010 | Watched the new Survivor and Joe is back. He's the best there and is sure to get voted off the first chance they get. They go right to tribal council without getting a chance to figure out who's getting voted off, yet they all vote for the same two people because they're what, psychic? Because this is a mathematical impossibility, they must have told them earlier they were going to council right after the challenge and they figured it out then. There is no way on earth 10 members all voted for the same 2 people. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25010 | Survivor is so boring, it's all talk talk talk, with a few repetitive challenges thrown in. And the best person never wins. The Amazing Race is a much more entertaining contest show. They're in a different location every week, with different challenges every week. There is very little talking and tons of action, beautiful locations, and the people who are the best always win. They aren't voted off the show, they get to prove they are the best. The first HALF of Survivor this week was talking, yuk. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25010 | So they break up into 3 tribes completely by random and the new tribe gets punished just because they're new? What did they do to deserve that. This show is nuts. This might be my last episode. Amazing Race is 200% better, it's pure competition, you leave because you lost, not because a bunch of poor performers voted you off. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

What does bother me is they don't have the token super-hot girl this time. Personally, I'm pulling for Kelly, who is from Las Vegas, and should have won the original Survivor, had I had a vote in it. What bothered me again was all the stupid talking! Sneaking off in the bushes and whispering to each other about crap nobody cares about. This is it for me, I turned it off before they even got to the challenge. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I agree. I much prefer the shows with fresh faces than all-star shows. One thing that gets said over and over this time is they regretted not putting enough effort into their "social game" the first time. This season it is all social, which does not make for good viewing. So far, this is one of the weakest Survivor seasons I've seen, but am holding out hope. Here is a picture of Morgan from the former "Beauty tribe" to show you another thing I'm missing from this season. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |
