Hey Mike

You're a big survivor fan. This is the first
one I've see in at least 7 years. I notice
the lack of older people. There was
always 2-3 people in their 50's. I'm seeing
better looking younger people. A lot of
them don't seem all that bright. Other
than that, it hasn't changed.

It always bugged me that the most interesting
and capable people got voted off right away.
That hasn't changed either. The Asian girl and
the tall guy with the weird eyes were the best
to watch, so of course they left. Getting rid of
the deaf woman had to happen, she played
the 'deaf card' in every conversation. Enough
already..
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I was not unhappy to see those players go, as I found both of them annoying. There is always some eye candy on Survivor. I wouldn't watch it otherwise. The reason there is not anybody over 60 this time is that the theme is collars, so everybody is supposed to still be working.

You don't find most of the others equally
annoying? The reason they got voted off
was, the other team members realized
they were superior to them, and had a
good likelihood of winning. The best
people always get voted off early, and
some schlub who just hangs back and
blends into the wallpaper ends up
winning. Lets wait and see.

It's why I stopped watching 7 years ago.
The premise is majorly flawed if the best
and brightest are always voted off early.
Show you have a brain and have studied
the show and you're a goner. Even if you
try and hide it, they soon catch on to you.

The strategy of voting off the strong players tends to happen later in the game. I know that flying under the radar is a common strategy that usually will take somebody far, but it does't get many votes by the jury in the end.

I haven't watched a full season of Survivoir since Rupurt was on it. Mainly because I work and would never remember to watch it on-line or on on-demand. I have Wednessdays off now, so I've been watching it.

Ahhh, you mean like the no-collar's blonde's sheer bikini? Every scene she was in during the challenge. No photoshop here.

The first two voted off this time were
the most interesting to me. The tall
guy said to the group as he was walking
out, "good play". He was right, they got
rid of the strongest player on their team
and the week before they got rid of the
second strongest. It's never the most
deserving and qualified that win, they
all get voted off. It's like being in the
military and you constantly shoot your
own officers so the privates and corporals
can be in charge.

I was so pissed at Will when he was told again and
again not to let that platform just drop, and he keeps
doing it anyway until that poor woman gets gashed
in the head. He's a useless idiot, get rid of him.

I was so glad to see that arrogant bearded guy go.
Was he the one soaking his feet in the communal
water pot? What an ass. And he has every episode
memorized, all the different strategies studied. All
so he could get kicked out immediately. He must
not have seen the part where arrogant jerks are
never tolerated.

Ya, what was up with that? Let the platform down slowly. Lots of time while your teammates got the items.

Where is this season of Survivor taking place? As near as I can tell, they haven't mentioned it.
