I see that modern version of the "root cellar" might be coming into vogue. Other than be buried to maintain a consistent temp, you can have a small electric ventilation system to automatically, pull in night air when it is cooler. Of course, that might be partially or completely powered by solar.

edit -- then I saw this come up in the feed.

Whirlpool is coming out with a new insulation material.
The company claims its Slimtech insulation will make fridge walls 66% thinner, giving 25% more capacity.

It can be in this day and age. It can be an entire home.

What Is The Minimum Square Footage Of A Tiny House? Tiny homes can really range anywhere from 60 square feet to 600 square feet, but anything less than 60 square feet really starts to become unlivable for the average person.

I won't argue that if someone is the type to want a 400 sf home that this DIY heater won't be right up your alley

Still relevant even though it's 2 years old. It would take me 50 minutes probably.

A way to make a sphere I hadn't thought of. I suppose you could do this on a smaller scale.

So I had an idea to organize odd items in the household that really don't have a place to store with other things which have a place to store with other things. Like I have a drawer for office items, paper clips, rubber bands, staples, but not place for some random left over pvc pipe, empty spray bottles, extra plug-in hallway lights and numerous items that if I toss or sell, I suddenly think of a use for again.

So, I bought large plastic bins with lids (sturdy but still light) and labeled the bins, "Bin 1" Bin " etc, and stack then far back in an extra room. I noted everything I put in each one on my Ipad notes feature, so I can easily check each bin note to remember what was in each bin, and easily check without rummaging through each one. Fine so far.

So, now, because I don't want to look every time which bin I got something out of on my Ipad, I'm going to add an extra feature my mom & dad both used: Putting paper labels on everything so I know which bin it was in when I took it out. I could write it on the lid of the bin, but items could change over time.

Do it yourself for youtube watching. (what little I know)

The gear item allows you to watch videos at up to twice the speed. Except for music I almost never listen at regular speed any longer.
You can often turn on translate from another language.
You can save videos to watch later. (but I think this only works if you have your own channel. You don't have to have any content on your channel.)
You can also save someone's video and make a category to save similar videos labeled as certain content if you have your own channel.
Videos often now have a graph along the timeline that show you where the most watched points are. Just move your cursor along it.
The like button actually triggers youtube to show you similar content. So like a cat video, you get more suggested cat videos.
Ignore people with telegram messages to contact them.
