Yeah, we wouldn't want to embarrass a serial rapist of Cosby's magnitude, that would just be awful. Gimee a break. Did he really think he would get away with it forever? If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Paying off someone is not an admission of guilt, its often simply the cheapest way to get rid of adverse headlines. |

Would a court transcript from 2005 be credible enough for you? What if the transcript quotes Bill Cosby testifying under oath that he had acquired 7 prescriptions for quaaludes in the 1970s?

Good for you, Reno. Where there is smoke there can be a smoke machine too, often generated by lawyers. For your interest, one of the jurors on the rolf harris trial (tie me kangaroo down) was a serving police officer. Now as to a defendant in a civil suit givinga deposition, its damning evidence for 2005 and perhaps earlier, but the responses were in a fight over money, not guilt. So who knows what he might have been blackmailed into saying or paying off. |
