Maybe now that the great terror that is cannabis is relaxing a bit and more research is being done, do in part to easier access for researchers, maybe there is some miracle medical applications for psilocybin mushrooms?

Why not?

I remember watching a doc about MDMA (ecstasy). There was a guy that had something bad, final stages. He was non-ambulatory, non-speaking, very near a vegetative state. He sat in a chair, unable to support himself, and shook all day long. Couldn't walk, couldn't talk, couldn't feed himself, only stared wherever his head was pointing. He was given MDMA, and while it f$%^ed him right up, he was able to conduct himself like any other rave child, minus the vigorous dancing. He could walk with assistance, he could eat, he could sit and talk.

MDMA, psilocybans, maybe this ain't stuff we want our city bus driver to be using on the job. But when we're talking medical uses, I can't find these worse than the chemical concoctions we currently stuff into ourselves. Especially if they work.

I know weed is the best cold medicine I ever took. If not for the gov, I could grow it in my garden for free and never miss a day of work. But instead, I have to take some acephilophanebarbimethahydrobromide some guy made with a white coat and pipettes.

Which would you rather eat?

A)

B)
Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.

Try the ones a little further away from the cowpie.

If you think that tastes bad, try chemo. I am starting to suspect you just aren't a very good cook?lol

You previously posted you even make brownies taste bad, and that ain't easy. I need to figure out how to make organic ones sugar free?

ps: I am no "top chef" either but I can stir in an egg, water, and mmj oil and follow the cooking directions.

The reality will set in. That it's readily available
to kids of any age, that more and more are
being arrested under the influence, that more
and more are having mental problems as a
result of over indulging. It's only a matter
of time. We lowered the drinking age to 18
in MI in the 70's, that was a big bust too..

When was cannabis not available to kids of any age? That is just absurd. It has been a long held cliche that if someone wanted mj and couldn't score then ask a teen where to get it. They got the contacts.

What I'm trying to do here is suggest trying to make something positive out of this.

Cannabis is a wonder drug, with more uses than penicillan. It is the most useful substance on the planet. That is the reality, the helpful uses of this plant are legion. As has been stated here before, Hemp although technically not thc containing cannabis, maybe someone can get permission to grow that as well and quit cutting down the rain forest, no more Macondo BP wells, leave a couple Sequoia's in the forest, what the hell. Come on Bob, you didn't build that, leave a little for the next gen.

Ask yourself, since you raised the drinking age did that stop under age drinking or did it drive the wannabee's to other sources? Kids in France are raised up drinking wine, I haven't looked it up but they probably don't have any more alcoholics than we do.

Remember you are the same thing as everything else? At least you were awhile ago, face it, you are dope.lol

So in the states where it's legal, you think
it was just as available to young kids before
it it was legalized. Really? That's the story
you want to go with?

In my younger years I had access to the genuine stuff.
Always ate it plain, as is.
Hated the taste,
Was told best to eat it on an empty stomach to get the full effects.
Believe me, I experienced the full effects.
I didn't really like the full effects.
But then I also don't like the alcohol drug buzz either.
Too me alcohol is a hard drug, you can get totally wasted. No interest in that. And alcohol tastes like crap also.

Did you like not listen to John Denver or something?

There was weed at my grade school in the 60's. Maybe its more available since becoming pseudo legal? Its the main agricultural crop in Calif, Oregon, and Hawaii, I don't know how it could be any more available?

This might creep you out a little bit, but you are surrounded by pot smokers, they know better than to out themselves to you. That sucks man, these people are having fun and don't trust you enough to let you in on it. Loosen up a little bit brother, there ain't a lot of time left.

There aren't that many cities where you can be a rocks throw away from a "reefer". Even during the Reagan years he quoted "20%" of Americans use daily. If you know ten people, 2 of them are using "illegal" substances, the other 8 have got a prescription.

I wasn't trying to imply that you hadn't had access, I believe you there.

I still suspect you haven't got this whole cooking thing down yet though.

If you were talking about those jelly like things, I wouldn't put those in my mouth. Access is funny. I could never find them, and then when I didn't care any more and after a big rain, I had a big "Alice in Wonderland moment"? And I was surrounded my many pounds of those pretty orange ones with the flecks on the cap.

So I read up on them, and found they had been used in Siberia for ages as medicine. The liberty caps though, just dry them and blend them up and use your imagination.

I never had the opportunity except maybe twice. Once in a casino in Reno. That is not a good place to experience those things, its not supposed to be that funny losing money.
