You probably can get some to pay you but it is likely inverse to their desirability, most women that are willing to pay your hourly rate are going to be pretty ugly. Try to take a third person view of it for a couple minutes. Are escorts legal where you are? Probably. With your work experience I can imagine that you have a perfect right to be suspicious of marriage. I also imagine that mostly guys that come out the other side of bad marriages have figured out that there is no such thing as free sex. My option, the logic is simple. How can you still be an optimist? An attractive companion for a while that you will not wake up with can be a great mood booster. Show up next time at work with an irrepressible grin. I don't see how it is different than going on an expensive date, but with no pretense of a relationship. That is honesty. I will quit bringing it up if it really is that objectionable. I have just sat and talked with them when friends went in the back. I had fun. I find them interesting. A professional won't bring something unwanted to you. It is a business. They are just people in an occupation you are unfamiliar with. How about a good honest above board massage? They are wonderful. Face also said this in his words only different. Be happy man. You, we, have all heard the cliche "this isn't a dress rehearsal", its true. I am thankful I am not dating or going through the selection process. When I finally accepted that I would just be alone and got ok with it, a miracle happened for me. It was luck, or Karma, I don't know, but I am happy. When I wasn't looking, is when I found. Escorts are legal - sex for money is illegal. And, no matter what, if a woman thinks you have money, they will find a way to get pregnant and BOOM, child support (plus health insurance, extracurriculars and educational expenses) for 21 years in NY. |

Check out some of the local clubs with live music. Alot of talented undiscovered talent out there. After Jerry Garcia died, I really got into the jamband nightclub scene pretty heavy. It was a lot of fun if you find some local talent you really enjoy listening to. I also audio taped so became friends with all the soundboard guys around town. Check out jambase.com to see who is in the area playing, be adventurous, see a totally unknown band, you just might be impressed. I don't trust them either, and frankly I find women very boring as companions. I like my wife OK, just not spending a lot of time with her. I've said here before that I understand the old custom where the women would sit in the sewing room after dinner and the men in the parlor. I know a woman that tried to do that. She was dating a guy who's parents were loaded and she kept tying and trying to get pregnant. When it looked like she was losing him she faked a pregnancy and 3 months later fakes a miscarriage with some raw chicken liver. This was no nutjob girl, she was very smart and very determined to get what she wanted. He eventually caught on (men are so stupid) and dumped her. If you take a risk, you may lose. Very smart women often do nutty things, that's why they aren't trustworthy. I remember when I was 20, watching Gone With the Wind in a theatre with my then GF. The way Scarlett behaved was atrocious and it hit me that it was exactly how my GF behaved most of the time. Lying and manipulating. I had to see it in somebody else so I could see it in her.
