James Packer has to pay Mariah Carey $5million for "uprooting her life" for him

WTF‽

Well, it's probably cool if you're a lawyer looking to cash in on a new market. Not divorce, just uprooting lives.

Oh, please. The attack on the Constitution comes from the Democrats who have chosen to support illegal aliens over their own citizens. It is a great day for conservatives, finally someone stands up to the bullies on the left.

I will reply in the Trump Implosion thread since the there is an ongoing discussion of this topic there.

The jet stream is currently raging, enough so that yesterday a Boeing 787 commercial flight on Virgin Atlantic airlines from Los Angeles to London was able to cruise at 801mph. Its typical cruising speed is 561mph. The sound barrier is 767mph, but it didn't actually have a sonic boom.

I'm surprised it was built so tolerate
that much speed. Lots of stress on
the wings.

No more stress. The 801mph was ground speed. Air speed would have still been the planes normal 561mph.

800mph wind on the wings has the
same stress as 500mph wind? The
wind that keeps the airfoil flying?

Reread my original post. The plane was only going 500mph through the air. Look up the definitions if you need to EB.

This whole story about 3 buckets of radioactive uranium on display at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center is crazy.

But to me, the craziest part of the story is that after disposing of the uranium, rather than dispose of the empty buckets at a hazardous waste facility, they brought the empty buckets back to the Visitor Center. "Hey man, I need my empty buckets back, cause Home Depot charged me $7.99 for those things!"
