Today is a sad day for America. A direct attack on our constitutional government, enabled by congressional republicans. I will remain conservative, but I'm done with the GOP.

Its politics over country.
Its Republican afraid of Trumps twitter attacks.
Trump is brutal on twitter, Dems deal with it, republicans are deathly scared of a Trump twitter attack

Oh, please. The attack on the Constitution comes from the Democrats who have chosen to support illegal aliens over their own citizens. It is a great day for conservatives, finally someone stands up to the bullies on the left.
The President is a fink.

It's great watching the backlash to Brainiac
Cortez and her cronies driving Amazon
out of NY. New York runs ads all over the
country on TV begging businesses to come
to New York, they will get great tax breaks.

So here comes Amazon, they're going to
supply 25,000 high-paying new jobs in a
state that's desperate for new business. And
the Socialists drive them out! It's wonderful
to see socialism in action, they have no idea
how destructive their actions were to the
economy of New York.

My dear god, Cortex Cortez is stupid.
Amazon was getting a $3 billion tax
break if they moved to NY. Today
Cortez is ecstatic that now NY can
give the $3 billion to 'the people'
to do good things with.

It was a 'tax break' dear, it was money
Amazon didn't have to pay. There isn't
$3 billion that NY was giving them that
can now be spent elsewhere.

Good god but she's a moron.. That
people like this are in congress making
decisions that effect all of us is frightening.

This is the same idiotic liberal thinking that has them going crazy if a wealthy guy making 20 million a year pays 8 million in taxes instead of 9 million. They believe it is the government GIVING the guy a million!
I don't know overall if the deal offered to Amazon made exact financial sense, but I am pretty sure the intangible benefits made it worthwhile for NYC.
I wonder if the 3 billion is phantom money.... meaning other areas of comparable size pay 5 billion but we are letting Amazon only pay 2 billion. So now since there is NOTHING replacing the project, that 2 billion goes away. If someone knows the true details please elucidate us.

It made HUGE sense, cities all over
the US have been drooling over
Amazon moving there for years.

Billions in taxes every year for
the state, of course the deal was
worth it. Now, poof, it's gone, for
the sole reason OAC and her
cronies made a big deal out of
it. And they didn't even understand
it, that's the wonderful part.

It will probably go to Chicago
now, who are ecstatic about it.
