Australian model in Greece who had repeatedly expressed excitement about meeting her family and continuing her travels said to have become despondent for unknown reason and killed herself by hanging from a thick rope in a public area that would be in full view of passersby when dawn broke. Ever hear of a female hanging herself in public?

Millionaire's yachtq allowed to promptly sail away. Greece makes a lot of money from those yachts.

The officially non-existent climate change has been melting snow in the Yukon near areas that caribou herds would frequent. Just after landing a bunch of scientists in the area and having them disperse in many directions, a helicopter pilot looked down at his feet and called the researchers to all come back. He had spotted a five foot long Atlatl spear that was totally and completely intact including even the tree sap used as an adhesive. This is not just a boon to understanding the technology involved but a great find for the tribal museum that controls the exhibits found in that area. Age of at least 1,000 years is known but may be far older.

Twitter bans Alex Jones
lol
He better not come here
If he does, he will have to tone it down or deal with the Wizard
Alex Jones can be banned from their web site just as the Wizard has banned individuals on this site

This is exactly right. What does freedom of speech have to do with the policies of a private company? They can do what they want. If people don’t like it then just boycott them. If enough people boycott then the financial hit might force them to change their policy.

College of the Ozarks in addition to requiring athletes to show proper respect for the National Anthem will ban all Nike products from athletic competitors in retaliation for Nike's campaign that promotes disrespect for America.

Date rape?
Model taken to local watering hole for several drinks with two male crew members.
Phoned her mother and brother in tears over 'incident with crew member'.
Spoke to security guard.
Supposedly hanged herself fifteen minutes later.
Lay on deck unaided for awhile and lay in local clinic without access to adequate treatment facilities.

Trump approves plan to continue to stay in Syria indefinately:

http://thehill.com/policy/defense/405532-trump-extends-indefinite-syria-strategy-report

Timeline:
Late March/early April he claimed he wanted out of Syria very soon.

In April, he agreed to leave the troops there until ISIS is defeated, but may have given the military a 6 month deadline to do so.

Now: nope, not out in the next month (the end of that 6 month extension)

Say, what happened to that secret plan to soundly and quickly defeat ISIS?

Also in the news in the past couple of days -
New trade deal with Mexico, basically a tweaked and revised NAFTA. Mexico paying for a border wall was not part of the new deal.
Trump now, again, says Mexico will pay for the wall, but now he says “It will ultimately be paid for by Mexico.”
Mexico again says they will never pay for a wall.
Trump is again threatening to shut down the government unless WE pay for the wall.
