Is that right? Keep tap dancing… you’re good at it.

Doesn't matter to me, medical advice is supposed to change if evidence is made for something. The rightwing was the first to ignore what was actually medical recommendations of mask, social distancing.

As far as I can tell, hospitals are the last hold out on mask mandates. Is it still just political?

“In the United States, COVID-19 has become a political issue, and people's political beliefs strongly influence their behavior,” David Dowdy, an infectious disease epidemiologist at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, told ABC News. “Political divides in our thinking about COVID are much stronger than in many other countries.”

If red states had a 38% higher death rate than blue states, you have to wonder about the merit of what many of them say about the pandemic efforts.

Few things this year have been more entertaining than the MI GOP Governor primary fiasco.

The joke I never get tired of hearing is tell one of your liberal friends that they should ban all the guns that were used on January 6th by the people who invaded the capital. Then when the Libby says, good idea, ban all those guns you have to sadly tell him that oops, nobody was carrying a gun on January 6th except the police. The one place that you would carry a gun you would think to overthrow a government would be at an insurrection yet not a single person had one. The totally political Monkey Trial with Adam Schitt for brains leading it starts tonight. Anybody think this could backfire on the Dems? LOL LOL

In all the Justin Bieber news that probably no one here wants to know. He's developed a neurological condition that paralyses half his face.

At least it's not Alopecia.

I can’t believe the vax screwed up him and his wife. How awful. What are the odds?

I heard too that it was the covid vaccination because this reaction has shown up in other people. We just never hear about it because the odds of it hitting somebody famous are small. This is why Pfizer does not want to release its early test results for 75 years. It's screwed up a lot of people.

“ Las Vegas hit a high of 109°F on both Friday and Saturday, tying the record high set back in 1956, the National Weather Service tweeted.
Temperatures in Phoenix climbed to 114°F on Saturday, a tie with the previous record set in 1918, per NWS.
Denver hit 100°F for the first time since 2013 and also broke a record for the earliest calendar day to reach the milestone.
San Antonio reached 104°F on Saturday, tying a previous June 11 record set in 1942.”

Seems like we are cycling back to hotter temps and less rain/snow. The desert was not made for large scale settlements. We will be learning that the hard way soon.
