Why wouldn't you call it eBay, it's been called that since 1997.

I believe FB will still be called FB; it's the parent company, the one that owns FB, Instagram et al that will be called Meta.

Then it's ridiculous. Google changed the name of its parent company to Alphabet in 2015 to rebrand themselves. How did that work out. Most people have no idea it ever even happened. Everybody calls it Google.

Facebook is tainted as a name. It is a product everyone uses but everyone hates. This is like Phillip Morris changing their name. The parent company wants to distance itself.

Judging from the change in per share stock value since 2015, I'm going to say it went fine.

Google (the search engine) and Facebook (the social media service) are just the most well known of several products/services owned by Alphabet/Meta. The names of those products aren’t changing.

I think they would have done this anyway, but I do agree it’s part of an ejection plan if Facebook’s reputation continues to deteriorate.

Means nothing in these times of stolen elections. The Democrats want this
very very badly, let's see if we can catch them cheating again.

The voting is not excessively liberalized in VA. If you want to vote by mail, it's still under 'absentee' type and you have to send in an application first. There's no same day registration to vote, and there is photo ID required. Every vote has a ballot that can be recounted later. Ballots are not mailed out automatically as may continue in some states.

Donald Trump jr. Started selling these t-shirts on his website last week. First I thought it was a joke, but it's not. He's really selling these shirts he hates Alec Baldwin that much. And who can blame him.
