IMHO, Office Depot needs to pay this person damages and sign a consent decree promising not to discriminate again based on current law. Unless the material is illegal (e.g. :child porn) then under current law they are really not allowed to refuse any print job.

I think that's confusing what the law means. You can refuse service of all kinds, but not based on race, religion, etc., those specific categories.

For instance, you can state flat out that you don't bake cakes depicting genitals, because that doesn't violate discrimination laws.

But I could be wrong. That's the way I understand it anyway.

Didn't remember his character. I mostly remember of the boys Alfalfa, Spanky, Froggy, and of course Buckwheat. The later of whom as we all know died in 1981, tragically shot in NYC.

I'm not saying the cops are wrong here, but I've read more than once where cops shoot the family dog almost right off, usually when it is on its own property and just reacting normally to a stranger on the property.

Here, they got one dead guy already and woman being attacked and more or less scare the dogs off first.

There is some kind of minority of cops who get their jollies killing the family dog. IMHO some of this goes to where our cops look more like a branch of the military than cops. The "no knock" thing that looked so cool in the 1980s is now too normal.

Kid just happens to be a Muslim in Texas
He takes the clock to school to show his teachers his skill in building things
The absurd principal accuses the kid of building a bomb and calls the police
Here is the Barney Fife police conversation with the kid

“They were like, ‘So you tried to make a bomb?’” Ahmed said.
“I told them no, I was trying to make a clock.”
“He said, ‘It looks like a movie bomb to me.’”

Wow, texas police get all their bomb info from the Hollywood fantasy movies. Yup, they watch movies to become bomb experts.

So absurd this kid got arrested.
Obama has the right idea, he wants to see the cool clock :-)
Its a clock, not a hoax bomb.
