I stand by my prediction that the deal they will end up with will be the same or weaker than the one under Obama, and Trump will frame this as a major victory and he is the best negotiator because he spent the last 8 years of dispute just getting back to a deal he ripped up in 2018...

GOP is pretty lucky this cycle because of the timing. The Senate and House seats this year largely favor GOP generally. So if GOP loses both the Senate and the House, it will be a major indicator of the popularity this year.

Earlier this year, people were saying the ICE killings would push America over the edge, but now the illegal war is so unpopular and all over the news, that is not even talked about much anymore.
