As for taking the fifth: as I said the republicans did it too and will do it again: that's what happens when a representative democracy is going off the rails.

I see no indication MrV is off his meds. He just hates Trump so much he’ll mold his reality around that regardless of any facts you can present. Frankly, I can say the same about you with your loyalty to the bad man.

Really? I'm starting thread after thread about him and posting about his every move? I am "loyal" in that his actions and values fit very neatly with my own. (eg: Close the Department of Education) so I voted for him all three times. MrV and other haters seem to revolve their lives around his every move, which I admit is good for laughs.

I quite often agree with you on the general policy decisions Trump takes. And how much better they are for the country than almost all standard Democrat policies. But how anyone can defend the personal traits of Trump is beyond my comprehension. I can easily understand why you would vote for him. But I can just as easily understand why MrV could never.

He only calls people names when he is attacked first. And that is a good thing. Bush43 just stood there and let himself be called names. Acted presidential as the term goes. And he lost all of his support. Trump acts like a man and defends himself. I like that.

I like that he tries in multiple businesses. Condos. Casinos. An airline. Monday Night Raw (ok kayfabe there). Reality star. I like that when thinks go bad like the song he picks himself up dusts himself off and starts all over again. He had to deal with the mafia which probably prepared him for politics even though the mafia would be more honest people than in DC.

I like that he follows his beliefs and instincts. How many GOP pols just pay lip service to the border because some consultants said to get Hispanic votes you have to say you love illegal immigration? And it is working.

You're already wrong in your first sentence. He just called Republicans stupid and MAGA weaklings over the Epstein files. I don't know if any of them called him names, but I know whole lot never did.

More evidence SooPoo doesn't believe in civil rights or due process. Any lawyer worth his salt will advise, when questioned by the government to (1) Get a lawyer and (2)STFU. Invoking the Fifth means you have a right to remain innocent, and not have the government twist your words into something most favorable to the government's efforts to prosecute.

That being said, it appears that rules and SOPs regarding the use of the autopen were kinda loose, and have been across several administrations. Maybe this and future administrations should tighten them up a bit? Define who can authorize the autopen for official government documents and keep some sort of log?

Why is there even an autopen, anyway?

Requiring ACTUAL signatures...wow, what a novel idea.
