I liked Rubio as a Presidential option, but he got crushed by Trump. I really want some miracle and have Paul Ryan return to prominence. But it seems hard to picture it not being Vance next cycle. If Newsom just wasn’t white, male, and straight, the Dims could coalesce around him.

Republicans did it all the time when the democrats hauled them into a hearing.

You make shit up. I am well aware both parties have scoundrels that abuse the 5th amendment. My point is it’s SPECIFIC use when asked these two SPECIFIC questions. If there was no subterfuge, it would have been easy to just answer the questions.
