It’s just Democrat bluster as usual. Whether you agree with what they WANT to do or not, a 10 seat majority doesn’t give you the power to do whatever you want. It certainly is better than he has it now as the minority party.

As I’ve posted before, it’s really hard to imagine anything getting done with Jeffries/anyone/Trump.

You can go back nearly two decades and re-read my posts (started over at WoV) lauding when at least one of House/Senate/Presidency differs in party control from the other two. I disagree. I want my governemnt-at all levels-to work and solve problems. That can't happen if there is gridlock. Give me Dems in control of the WH and Congress any day of the week to the exclusion of all other scenarios.

My experience is that when one party is unchecked it doesn’t go well.

Answering terapined, not arguing with your points, but they are irrelevant to my point. That single control of the House by a few votes still means Trump has to sign any bill you want to become law. I’ll be eating popcorn waiting for Jeffries to come up with ONE such bill.

Maybe Donny and whomever is in charge in the Senate can do their jobs and come up with bills that will pass Jeffries and the House.

Give me Dems in charge any day fo the week and twice on Sundays. I want work getting done and no gridlock.

I'm a diehard Dem voter and will admit that, on balance, more things go better than worse when Dems run the table in elections. Not always, but way more often than not.
